Job Description: Provide Leadership to the entire store team as well as driving sales by creating & running a strong customer-centric, fun & engaging culture. Develop a team of executives & associates through coaching, following-up and recognition. RESPONSIBILITIES · opening the store by 9:30am daily/ 11am on Sundays & closing the store no earlier than 9pm. · overlooking all store employees such as: custodian services, warehouse services, finance office, and salespeople. · overlooking all store operations (basic housekeeping) such as: all electrical items are working correctly, entrance & exit doors work properly, plumbing issues are handled, cleanliness daily, large trash can outside the store is being emptied weekly · creating a weekly schedule for all employees & insuring all employees are attending work on time, taking proper breaks & clocking out and are completing their assigned tasks. · sets monthly sales goals for the store · responsible for discipline at the store level · ensure the store daily/weekly/monthly sales quotas are being met. · having store meetings daily & weekly to go over any & all issues that are occurring. · ensuring that role playing, proper coaching & training is being completed daily. · confirming all salespeople are trained properly before they are on the salesfloor, taking proper steps to complete their training such as set up an email address, store login & request for uniform. · ensures that all store employees are proficient in all store computer operations and reports · ordering uniforms for all employees on a needed basis & ensuring that all employees · overlooking & handling all escalated calls in a timely manner, daily. · developing a team of trained professional executives by hiring new employees as needed and insuring they are being properly trained as soon as they begin. · enforce all of exclusive furniture’s policies & procedures by properly reprimanding the employee with write-ups or suspensions as needed. · verify the salespeople are making post-delivery calls & forwarding reviews via Podium daily. · responsible for the sales floor always being full & requesting for new merchandise from the main warehouse if there is any room available on the sales floor. This must be checked daily. · responsible for double-checking all merchandise on the sales floor are tagged correctly & completely. · ensuring the daily cash till always remains at the same amount & the manager is well-aware of any shortages or additions. · solely responsible for the store credit card & responsible for turning in all receipts for any purchases made on the credit card. · a store manager is responsible for all store-wide activities related to selling, merchandising, store maintenance, expense management, shortage prevention & sales support functions. · aware of all physical movement of goods coming on to and leaving the sales floor · Can be assigned or informed about any other store or operational duties on occasion or as needed.
